All of Long Island Sound is classified as a No Discharge Area (NDA) by the EPA.  Discharge of treated or untreated sewage from any vessel is prohibited.  East Norwalk Blue empties vessel waste tanks along the North Shore of the Western Long Island Sound, from Bridgeport, CT to Throgs Neck, NY.

Entering a pumpout request is as easy as clicking on the “Online Pumpout Request” box to the right and filling out a short request form.  Boaters do not need to be present when the pumpout takes place.  The operator will leave a card on board with the date of pumpout and number of gallons pumped, and you will receive an email confirmation when complete.

Rest assured that all waste pumped off of recreational boaters holding tanks is offloaded as Marine Sewage Disposal Facilities (MSDF) that are located along the coast harbors and inlets that dot the CT and NY LIS coastline.
