Water Quality Corner with Dick Harris

Dick Harris, Marine Environment Specialist

For decades, Marine Environment Specialist Dick Harris has been monitoring and sampling the waters of Western Long Island Sound. Founder of Harborwatch, a citizens’ volunteer water quality monitoring group, Harris is currently working for the East Norwalk Blue Research (ENb-R) department of ENB to continue researching, educating and preserving the Long Island Sound. We’ve asked Dick Harris to keep us up to date about his routine water quality checks and he gladly agreed. Check back here regularly to learn about the water’s health and what you can do to keep Long Island Sound pristine.

If you have a question for Dick Harris, send us a message at info@eastnorwalkblue.org and he will get back to as soon as possible!
