ENB has our funding secure and are in the process of getting our boats ready for the 2025 boating season.  We will be sending out our annual appeal for donations to support our programs in the beginning of spring.  Some of the improvements that will improve service this year include:

• ENB will be operating a new improved website and administrative site this year, after upgrading our 30-year-old system with new software.  The site is slated for initiation before the start of the season this year.
• Some of our pumpout boats will get installed new trim tabs to help with stabilization during the long runs we do between harbors.  ENB operates over a 30-miles plus of no-discharge zone in the Western Long Island Sound.
• The upgrades in wiring and engines on our boats continues, with boat equipment upgrades to help improve our service to boaters.
• ENB has continued to perform water testing in the Western Sound, and our data and analysis is included in various publications to inform the public and municipal decision-makers.

ENB is looking forward to getting back on the water this year as the weather improves and continue our streak of milestones in service.  2024 was our best year ever in terms of boats serviced (2,730!) for pumpouts.  We hope to continue this high level of service (with your help!) as we start operations in the 2025 season.
